Meet Frederick A. Babb
GIRALDA: The famous Cathedral of Sevilla.

A native of Albert Lea, Minnesota, Frederick A. Babb was born on 11 October 1963.  He never had a chance to enjoy the beauty of that city since he moved to Arizona at age four and was raised in Parker, AZ for the greater part of his youth.  During his school years, he participated in several writing competitions and won awards locally for his poetry.  It was the start of a hobby that would truly give him satisfaction.

After graduating from high school, he joined the Air Force.  Upon completion of technical school, he was sent to Torrejon AB, Spain just outside of Madrid.  During his time at Torrejon, he was sent for temporary duty to Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Germany, England, Greece, and the Azores Islands frequently.  In the Air Force he was able to visit most of the European world.  These travels permitted him to gather many experiences from the various cultures he visited.

The Mecca of World Soccer, Camp Nou!

For now, Frederick has settled down in Spain. He uses the uniqueness of this country and the lifestyle in his stories.  It was his passion for Spain that has inspired his Spanish Romance Trilogy.  He wanted to share some of the beauty and charm of Spain with his readers.

While writing critically acclaimed romance novels like Unforgettable and Torn, he has also gone off into different genres with his Romance suspense tale Freeman's Perils and his behind the scenes novel about terrorism Basta Ya!/Enough!

One of the experiences that Frederick enjoys most is the ability to connect with the reader.  There is no greater satisfaction as a writer than to receive a letter from someone that has read his book and thoroughly got pleasure from it.
